About the Director
Darleen Bolton began her dance training at the age of seven. Her first dance classes consisted of ballet, tap, and jazz. Darleen later added to her list of talents by studying more disciplines such as modern, lyrical, and pointe-all of which she is highly trained. Ms. Bolton has also studied at Tri-Cities High School magnet program, Spelman College, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She participated in works with master choreographers Adam Parsons from the premier dance studio "The Edge" as well as Troy Powell from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Ms. Bolton is an accomplished competitive dancer and choreographer as well.
